Notary Public

A notary public is a public servant appointed by state government to witness the signing of documents and to administer oaths. Notary publics notarize documents to deter fraud and ensure proper execution. (

To become a Notary Public an individual must pick up an application at the clerk's office in which they reside or their primary place of employment is located. The application cannot be completed online, due to an original signature of the clerk or appointed deputy clerk required.
